CAD Drafter | Job Opportunity

SUMMARY:

Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Drafter to create precise technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure drawings meet specifications and project requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings and designs using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, etc.).
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints provided by engineers or architects.
• Revise drawings based on feedback, redlines, or design changes.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to industry and company standards.
• Maintain accurate records of drawing revisions and document control.
• Collaborate with the design team to identify and resolve potential design issues.
• Assist in preparing materials for permits, construction, or manufacturing.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate degree or certification in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read and understand engineering and architectural drawings.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (depending on industry).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in manufacturing preferred
• Experience with 3D modeling and rendering.

SALARY RANGE:

$41,600 – $50,000
